Deleting a column in Excel manually
  1. Hover your mouse over the letter of the column you want to delete (for example, column B).
  2. Right-click on the letter (B).
  3. In the menu that opens, click Delete .
The column will be deleted, and the columns on the right will move to the left.

Keyboard shortcut for deleting a column

  1. Highlight each cell within the column you want to delete.
  2. Click on:
    Ctrl + - (Minus)
  3. A small window will appear – select an option:
    Entire Column → OK.
