- Deleting a column in Excel manually
- Hover your mouse over the letter of the column you want to delete (for example, column B).
- Right-click on the letter (B).
- In the menu that opens, click Delete .
The column will be deleted, and the columns on the right will move to the left.
️ Keyboard shortcut for deleting a column
- Highlight each cell within the column you want to delete.
- Click on:
Ctrl + - (Minus) - A small window will appear – select an option:
Entire Column → OK.
